I participated in the jamming as well, rockin it on guitar and dulcimer.
You will have som more opportunities to see me play:

May 8th, Samash Music Orlando
May 22nd, Brus Room Coconut Creek

Also, anyone in attendance tonight would tell you that Andy Uihlein is something special to see on bass. And his band Seasons Lost, will be performing at Culture Room on April 30th, opening for Deadstar Assembly.

Check back for future posts, about even more of my Brus Room dates. I work for them, so they love having me play all their locations!!

New Alter Bridge album coming up!

Hello there rockers!

I just read that Alter Bridge has finished recording their third album, it is described as dynamic and the goal is to top their Blackbird album. I’ve had the pleasure to see Alter Bridge live one time and would say that they are a pretty good live-band. Their lead guitarist, Mark Tremonti, is quite the entertainer with difficult solos and interesting moves!

I thought about something the other day, actually my friend brought it up, I hope everyone agrees with me when I say that the death of Kurt Cobain is nothing else but sad and a waste of pure talent. However, if you have to try and see something positive about it what would that be? What had happened with Dave Grohl if the terrible incident wouldn’t have occurred!?

Grohl have contributed to a number of bands success throughout the years and is according to me a huge influence to rock music. Im just saying, no Foo fighters, no Them crooked vultures…well no one knows.

Anyway, looking forward to AB´s new album and gonna listen to a Nirvana classic now, Lithium, got all nostalgic. If you don’t have it already, Nirvana – unplugged in New York, buy it, its a classic.

A summer full of concerts!!

This summer is slowly filling up with concerts. Drifter music is here to tell you whats best.

ZZtop is playing at the King Center in Melbourne on April 30th, as well as a Jacksonville spot, AND......SUNFEST!!!

Robert Plant will be at Bayfront Park Amphitheatre on July 31st. Now this one, once in a life time. The Bayfront Amphitheatre has the Miami skyline, the ocean, and a rock band all in your eyesight at once!! There won't be many more chances to see Robert Plant, and especially in a setting like this.

Rush, Kansas, and Yes are 3 more bands you can expect to see this summer. All three of these acts changed the world of rock n' roll. They were so progressive for their time, and to this day are known as some of the greatest prog bands.

Drifter music says "see them all! you only live once!"

Verizon BamaJam June 3-5,2010

That's right another music and arts festival. This one has country music flare with some great headliner bands. I know this event is not a rock festival event, but the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley got his music roots from country, gospel and blues.

Country music is derived from country soul and many songs are of a story telling nature. A lot about lost love and hard drinking. As of late more of the newer artists are taking on a pop-rock nature. Some country artists have theme parks named after them, Dollywood.

This festival has intertwined in it Bluegrass and Alternative music along with serious country music. Some artists to enjoy are; Kenny Chesney, Hank Williams Jr., Jake Owen, Greg Allman, Randy Houser, Gretchen Wilson, Buddy Guy, Marty Stuart and more.

BamaJam is a 3 day-3 night outdoor festival. It is located on the corner of HWY 167 and County Road 156 on 600 acres of beautiful Alabama land, near Dothan Alabama.

There are camping accommodations on site. You can RV,tent, or tailgate. Hotel rooms are available in nearby Dothan, Enterprise, Troy and Ozark, Alabama.

General parking is $ 10 per day. Lawn chairs are allowed as well as carry ins. Handicap facilities are provided, along with a designated seating area. Pets are not allowed at this event.

Bama Jam 2010 has the makings of good times with The Miss BamaJam 2010 competition and The Bama Slam Saloon.

Tickets are $ 130 for this three day event. Go to www.bamajammusicfestival.com for more info.

Country is catchy. Keep on kicking.

Year of the Black Rainbow

Drifter music has gotten our hands on the new Coheed and Cambria album just a little early. Its release date is still 2 weeks away, but we have the scoop for you. The album definately takes a new direction for the band, including some synthy sounds not used before. They have a slight electronic element to them now. The new song "Far" is very catchy and reminds me of an older song "Feathers". "Pearl of the stars" is a great ballad on the album. Their new drummer seems to be molding quite well too! They end the album they way they know best, with an "end complete" remeniscent song, "the black rainbow". When you hear it, you know Coheed has not lost their edge. So be excited!

Bonnaroo is Comming Soon in June

Just a reminder. If you guys missed out on acting quick for the Bon Jovi Circle Tour, jump on this. Bonnaroo is going to be a Summer blast. Scheduled for June 10-13 in Manchester, Tennessee. Tickets will probably go fast. This is a large scale event with lots to entertain you.

Her are a few headliners. One of my favorites is John Fogerty formally of Credence Clearwater Revival. John fronted this band starting in the late 60's. He has lots of talent. Ever here the song Proud Mary. Yeah that's John. Okay here comes some of the list; Kings of Leon, Jay Z, Jeff Beck, Weezer, The Black Keys, Daryl Hall & Chromeo, Jimmy Cliff and so many more.

Remember, this event is a family affair with lot's of ways to lodge. Camping is always fun. The organizers have had lot's of experience with past Bonnaroo's so don't worry about logistics.

You can still get tickets. The trail to getting there starts with going to the official web site www.bonnaroo.com.

Let me know if you have any good experiential info about this event. We can pass it on. Sail on into beautiful days.

Band of Horses, NBA-Ambassadors?

Hey dear music fans!

Something special going on today? Rhetorical question, Arctic monkeys are playing today in Miami Beach. Hope some of you out there have taken the advice and bought tickets. I found another have-to-go-to-concert today, wouldn’t say its one of my favorite bands but I wouldn’t miss it. Band of Horses, emerged during 2004 and has since been pretty successful (they have at least performed at the Late show with David Letterman). For those who haven’t heard of them before, I would describe them as a midtempo rock band with “special” vocals. If you take Keane (British piano-rock band) and add a bit of sadness and take away some pop at the same time you have Band of Horses. That could be the worst description ever, look them up instead of listening to a semi-tired exchange student high on Pepsi.

Band of Horses starts playing in the Florida region in the end of April, I think their first concert in Florida is at the University of Florida April 27th. For more information about their concerts, go to: http://tour.bandofhorses.com. I really like the band but there is one question that has been remained unsolved about the band and kept me wondering for a while. Maybe you can help me? There is one song called “Detlef Schrempf”, nothing wrong about the song but what’s up with the title!? For those who don’t know, Detlef Schrempf is a German basketball player, playing in the NBA during the 80´s and 90´s. If you have some info, please help me out!

Ps. Nice pic huh? Nina told me how to make this possible.

Coheed and Cambria at Revolution FL!

Hey Readers, just a follow up on Johan's post this Friday. Sounds like a sweet gig their show should be very entertaining. The tickets cost $25 Bucks, good deal for a rad date night, hanging with the boys or girls, or just wanting to see a great show on a budget. The Revolution is in Ft. Laudy-Dauty or more properly known as Ft. Lauderdale, FL. It's a great place to have a show because you can grab some grub before the concert. You can go to the Tarpon Bend for all around good food, if you craving Mexican charge the Tex Mex Cantina. They have some good eats. There are some other fun hangouts like Fat Cat's, that will keep you very occupied to people watch at least. Be prepared to pay anywhere from 5-10 bucks for parking, it's tough downtown. WATCH WERE YOU PARK! They will ticket or tow, only park in designated areas. You can get the tickets in Ticketmaster. Enjoy!

Whats going on in Florida?

We are almost finished with March madness (talking about the month and the madness going on all the time and not NCAA Basketball). So, April coming up soon, what happens in April? I have been realistic and picked out two concerts you have to attend to in April: Arctic Monkeys and Coheed and Cambria. April 1th is the first concert to attend to, Arctic monkeys. The concert is in Miami Beach, Jackie Gleason Theatre of Performing Arts, and I think there are still tickets left. The other concert is in Fort Lauderdale, Revolution Live, and I know for sure that there are still tickets left. I don’t think I have much more to say other than that.

Oh found some funny stuff on youtube, Josh from Queens of the Stone Age gets hit by a shoe during a concert, his reaction is pretty funny.

Check it out!

The Moody Blues Tour

Justin Hayward loves to play Peak Hour, The Day We Meet Again, and Driftwood. These are just a few songs being performed live by this legendary band, as well as other memorable hits.

As they have for decades The Moody Blues continues to pack amphitheaters and concert arenas across America and around the world.

With the other two original Moody's, John Lodge-bass and Graeme Edge-drums complementing Justin-guitar and vocals it is obvious why this band has endured.

The Moody Blues went through two major music periods, the Psychedelic 60's and the more contemporary 80's. Their sound is melodic, soul searching, as well as soothing. Maybe some fairy dust got mixed in somewhere.

Accompanying them are two keyboards , a flutist and a second drummer.

Check out their tour schedule www.moodyblues.co.uk. I have seen this band live...Wow !

Drifter Music Review of Wilco at the Fillmore

Last night, the alt rock band Wilco brought down the house at the Fillmore Miami Beach, Jackie Gleason Theater.

What a great show it was!!

The band had no opening act, and used all that extra time to their advantage, ripping through over 20 songs. They played so many great ones, new and old. Just to name a few, the band performed "A shot in the arm", "Heavy Metal Drummer", "Hummingbird", "Forget the Flowers", and a completely different, absolutely amazing version of "Casino Queen". This show at the Fillmore kicked off their tour, so be sure to catch them when they are in your town.

They also had a very intimate part of the set, where all six members moved up towards the front of the stage.

All their upcoming tour dates can be found here:
http://www.wilcoworld.net/shows/index.php

The way they did Casino Queen is worth it alone!!!

Steve Miller still rockin'

On March 2nd, Steve Miller shared the stage with country music star Kenney Chesney. It was for the Country Music Television series "Crossroads". After the show, Miller and Chesney played a late night smaller intimate gig at a place called Tootsie's Orchid Lounge. Steve Miller has been successful ever since his first album came out in 1969. For him to be collaborating with a newer generation's star like Kenney Chesney 40 years later is quite an accomplishment.

Later in the year, this concert will air on CMT. So don't miss it!

Also, Steve Miller has is upcoming tour dates, and is still booking more! check them out here: www.stevemillerband.com

Steve has consistantly came to South Florida every year for decades!!

Satan takes a holiday

Hey music fans! Hope all of you had a great time yesterday celebrating St. Patricks day and that you took Dans advice and saw Seasons Lost perform.

Band of the week (according to no one else but me) is….drum roll…… Satan Takes A Holiday! You need to check them out if you haven’t already, pretty weird name but some great tunes. You can find them on myspace or youtube.com. There debut album is now out and needs to be listened to or purchased, both digital download and online purchase is possible, go to their website for more information: SatanTakesaHoliday.com

If you don’t have any plans for the weekend, go and visit Dr. Feelgoods rock bar and grill. The place is located in West Palm Beach and actually co-owned by Vince Neil, lead singer in heavy metal-band Mötley Crüe. The name of the bar, Dr Feelgood, is actually an old Mötley song from the late 80´s if im not mistaking. Check out a review of the rock n roll bar.

Nothing else from me, have a great weekend and may the fork be with you!

AC/DC Travel Info

Ok readers! This is a big deal, if you are an AC/DC fan, there are only 5 concert dates left in the US. If you want to go, get on it fast, some of the concert dates were re-schedules from last year so more fans are already on it. If you are getting tickets on Ticketmaster, the only one's left are 93 bucks (before fees). I would also try ticketsnow.com, it's a sight where sellers can sell their REAL tickets. You might get a better seat. If you're coming from the east, tickets are expensive. Cheapest one I've found was American Airlines on Cheaptickets for $462. OUCH! If you live on the west coast you can score for much less. Flights out of LAX to LAS from 4/8 to 4/11 from US Air and Delta are under $200. If you guys live smack-dab in the middle of the US or the east coast, I would recommend attending the April 13th Show in Kentucky! That's right Kentucky! Flying from Austin to Kentucky's Int'l airport from Friday April 9th to Wednesday the 14th, starts at $197 from Delta. From MIA to Kentucky if you don't mind stopping it's a little over $300. I would drive north and fly out of Ft. Lauderdale, you'll save $50 bucks. Tickets cost $277 with US Air. I got this info on Cheap Tickets, try priceline too, I like how they cut you a check if the price drops, anything helps right! Happy Travels!

AC/DC and Iron Maiden

Hi rock fans, hope you are having a great spring break week! The weather hasn’t been quite so good but there is still rock music!

Some say, that they are the pioneers behind rock music and that their aggregated age is approximately 500. All we know, they are called AC/DC and their tour begins April 9th at MGM Grand, Las Vegas. The rock band from down under has actually been given a spot in the Rock and Roll hall of fame and we predict that the band is on their final stage, which is a good reason to go see them! It seems like they are only going to play a few concerts in the US so be sure not to miss it. Here is a link with the concert dates: https://tickets.acdc.com/

Iron Maiden starts their tour (The final frontier 2010 north American tour) in June, Dallas. The tickets for the first couple of concerts are on sale from the 20th of March. So remember that date and pick up the phone and get some tickets! Actually the first release dates of tickets is the 13th of March but for the later concerts…ahh, go and check it out on their website: http://www.ironmaiden.com/index.php?categoryid=15

Bored about the weather and don’t know what to do!? You got a couple of hours until Muse starts playing in Chicago…Go go go!!

Harvest of Hope-More info!

Hey Guys! Hope all is well :-) Ken brought up this great festival. What a better festival then one with great music for a good cause. For all of you guys who have never been to St. Augustine...It is B-E-A-utiful! I would make a weekend out of this one. Why? You have to go on the ghost tours. I've made my pitch, let's get down to the important stuff.

When: This Weekend! March 12Th to March 14Th

Where: St. Augustine, St. John's County Fair Ground

Tickets: For a three day pass the tickets cost $60 bucks! Not Bad. This is a great family weekend because Kids are FREE! Also if you want to camp on the sight it costs $19.50

Location: The fairgrounds are located on State Road 207 about 7 miles west of Interstate 95 between St. Augustine and Palatka.
There aren't many hotels in Elkton, FL, where the festival is. However wonderful St. Augustine is only 10.2 miles away. I would recommend staying there. Plus there are more places to eat and things to do.

Things to do:
Ripley's Believe it or Not! (904) 824-1606 Tickets for Adults are about 12.99...However if you buy them online you get $2 off Adult tickets and $1 off children's tickets

Shaie Mason of Seasons Lost, Interviewed by Drifter

Hello music fans!
One of the biggest rock bands out of South Florida this decade is preparing for a serious St. Patty’s day show. Seasons Lost will be performing at the Culture Room in Ft. Lauderdale next Wednesday, March 17th. I had a great opportunity to sit down with singer Shaie Mason and talk about the upcoming show, as well as other things to come for this great new band.

Dan: So Shaie, this is the 5th time Seasons Lost will be playing at Culture Room correct?

Shaie: Yep.

Dan: Are you starting to feel like you’ve made it to the next level, and now a bigger show like Culture Room is the average show for Seasons Lost?

Shaie: Yea, now its time to start headlining shows like Culture Room, so in everyone’s mind we’re as big of an act as anyone else.

Dan: Are there going to be any surprises for the fans on St. Patty’s Day?

Shaie: Yes, the luckiest Irish girl will get a kiss from the lead singer….and the roadies too (laughs).
No but seriously, we’re actually going to do a Metallica cover, off the “Ride the Lightning” album. So make sure you come see which one it is.

Dan: Seasons Lost has done one or two acoustic shows in the past. Both times, they were a hit. Do you see more of those shows in the future?

Shaie: Absolutely. I like it because it shows how versatile we are, and that we don’t always have to be heavy metal.

Dan: Is there a particular song that really comes from the heart, and has specific meaning to you?

Shaie: Yes, every song comes from the heart. When all you have left is the heart, and there have been so many losses in life, writing music encompasses all the hopes and dreams inside of one’s self. I eat, sleep, live, and breathe, what I believe in. If that’s not what your in it for, you’re false.

Dan: Well Shaie, that was very inspirational. Thank you for your time today, and I hope you have a great St. Patty’s Day show.

Shaie: Thanks Dan. See you at the show.

Stone Temple Pilots Rise Again!!

One of the greatest rock bands of the 90's was just interviewed earlier this year. Dean DeLeo (guitar) and Robert DeLeo (bass) of STP confirmed that their new album is nearing completion. This will be their first release in about a decade. Also, singer Scott Weiland who had been in and out of rehab, hindering the band from moving forward and touring, is now looking quite healthy.

Another Drifter music prediction- STP is back and ready to sustain their career for many years to come.

As of right now, the new album is scheduled for May 25th.

If you haven't heard of STP yet, Drifter music would like to recomend their 1992 release "Core" as a great place to start your listening journey.

More About the Wanee Music Festival 2010

The Wanee Music Festival 2010 will be held on the banks of the Suwannee River near Live Oak , Florida, April 15-17, in a beautiful Oak tree setting. With 800 acres of park this venue is perfect for a family gathering.

There are lots of things to do at The Suwanne Music Park. It is home to the world's largest bat house. Don't worry they are harmless but are very interesting to learn about. In fact bat's devour a nasty insect, the mosquito.(thank you Mister Bat-also Batman Lives!) As I said before this area of Florida has boundless beauty. I have never been to this park, but have been to Live Oak many times.

There are a lot of natural freshwater springs on the way if you are coming from south Florida. Icheetucknee Springs is one you may enjoy. This natural spring flows out of the ground from an underground aquifer and is the headwaters of the Icheetucknee River. In the Spring and Summer months it can be a wonderful family outing. Grab you inner tubes, strap them together, pack food and drink in a dry cooler, float down a lazy river on a two hour ride that Disney Magic can't duplicate. The cool water combined with hot days refreshes the soul. This small, quaint river is located north of Gainesville, Florida and south of Gainesville, Georgia.

This Wanee Music Festival 2010 is hosted by Warren Haynes and is a friends and family event. Many of the performing bands have close relatives associated with them. This event is truly homey.

The 2010 lineup includes some of the great bands that have grown up in this country. Some are; Warren Hayne's own band-Gov't Mule, Steven Stills( of Woodstock fame Crosby Stills and Nash ) Dr. John, Johnny Winter ( blues guitar extroidnaire ), Chuck Leavell with The Randal Bramblet Band, Jaimoe's Jazz Band just to name a few.

I have a special mention of the band The Wailers. They are performing at the Wanee Festival. This band represents the soul of Jamaica. These guys continue to instill peace and harmony by writing and performing a sound that permeates our body. They fight for reducing world hunger and play music for bringing awareness of human rights. They also write about our country such as evidenced in the song Buffalo Souldier. View their website at http://www.wailers.com/

There are a lot of family members intertwined in the bands playing at the Wanee 2010 Music Festival so it's sure to be a good time event. Please get prepared by learning more at the website http://waneefestival.com. Enjoy!

I have a couple of travel tips if you are driving. For about $ 5 at WalMart you can get rain.x 2-in-1 Glass Cleaner to clean you cars glass. I have been using this stuff and wow. It repells water and enhances driving visibility. It puts a shield on your glass the helps prolong wiper blade life.( Save money buy concert tickets. Yeah Baby ) Try it, it's super.

Spring and summer is love bug season in Florida. Yuck, yuck ,yuck... Protect your paint and reduce costs of cleaning your car by applying - All Natural PAM No-Stick Cooking Spray to the hood of your car. Bugs come of with minimal effort. So, save time, save money, cut down stress... yes, you are getting it, Buy Concert Tickets !!! If you are planning to take a taxi from Miami, Florida or Atlanta,Georgia who cares.

Okay, one last thing, a half delirious guy is riding in a taxi going to the Wanee 2010 Music Festival, looks out the window and rather quickly throws out his last bit of Skippy Peanut Butter that he had grabbed while running out of the house. What was he trying to do?

Local Hippies

Self proclaimed hippies and local Florida Band Fireside Prophets were brought to our attention by a reader (I'm so stoked you commented)!!! Meeting at FAU the three man band comprised of Marlon Bailey (Drums), Justin D'Alfonso (Guitar/Vocals), and Oren Gross (Bass/Ukulele). It says on their facebook their music "comes from the soul and only can be expressed through the uplifting influences of Reggae, ska, Hip hop, Funk and psychedelic rock". Sounds good to me. I didn't find any up and coming events but will let you know as soon as we hear. You can check out their facebook page

Enjoy :-)

U2 and monkeys from a cold place

Last week our co-writer Dan predicted Coheed and Cambria´s Florida concert, showing us that he could see into the future. I´m going to try to do the same right now; I predict that tickets for U2´s concert, July 9th in Miami FL, going to be sold out soon…Who´s betting against me!? They are playing at a stadium called Land Shark Stadium with a `special guest called Interpol, an American indie rock band. So, instead of betting against me I think you should put your money on tickets. Check for all the tour-dates on their website (http://www.u2.com/tour/index/).

Anyone likes Arctic Monkeys!? If you do, they are starting their tour in April, Miami Beach Florida. Stay tuned for more info about the band, our Florida-expert Ken might put up some posts about Arctic Monkeys.

What else!? Ohh, check out Nina´s info and go see Muse´s concert if possible, in NYC May 5th!

Last thing, having a bad day? Listen to this: Daniel Powter – Bad d….kidding!

Song of the day:

Eagles of death metal – wannabe in LA

Muse in NYC May 5th 2010

I was thinking today about a great band to see in the big apple. Upon going through a number of possible options I went back to Johan's post a few weeks ago about awesome rock band the Muse. They are insane, what better band then Muse to sum up a trip to the City. For all you BBC America fans, I came upon my final decision while watching a Dr. Who episode. Does anyone else think that vocals Matthew Bellamy could be the 12Th doctor? I know getting off on a tangent, but their musically symphonic adventures would even impress the doctor, and he's 900 years old (sorry, for the SciFi nerdness). With that being said anyone want to know how have the best start to your summer? I do!

If you live in the area...I'm jealous! You can take almost any subway line to get to Madison Square. Their schedule can be found by clicking on that link. Train lines 1,2,3,A,C,E,B,D,F,V,N,Q,R,W all stop at the concert hall.

The Allman Brothers Band Headline Wanee Music Festival 2010

What a fitting band to headline this great festival. Their first album is titled, The Allman Brothers Band. The LP inside cover is worth seeing. The band is butt naked ( a conservative photo ) sitting in what seems to be a tributary of the Suwanee River. So it appears they are returning to get another chance to do a retake. Hey guys, can I take the photo? Fun huh!

The Allman Brothers band has a rich history. Their sound of music is what BBQ is to beef. It is savory, sweet, and very tasty. The band is considered down home, smoking, southern rock style music with a mixture of blues, jazz, R&B, soul, and rock and roll. Their improvisational approach to music advanced rock similar to Cream and the Grateful Dead. The musical jams they performed early on needed a level of musical literacy and virtuosity that was new at the time.

The original members were: Duane Allman- lead slide & acoustical guitars, Dickey Betts - guitars & vocal, Berry Oakley-bass, Gregg Allman -vocals and keyboard, Jai Johanny "Jaimoe" Johanson-drums & congas, Butch Trucks-drums maracas & timbales. The member lineup has changed because of the untimely deaths of Duane, followed a year later by Berry Oakley. Rock Heaven has two outstanding members residing.

This band exploded on the music scene after officially forming in 1969, In Jacksonville, Florida. I say exploded because when I saw them in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 1969 that was my reaction. They came on late, but when we heard and felt the sound wave, starting with the first few notes of Statesboro Blues, it was shear exhilaration. This sound was worth waiting for. The fully packed Parker Playhouse filled with mostly 16 to 20 year old kids, jumped up on their seats and was screaming Wow! Yeah! Awesome! And other words of surprise. I say surprise because up until this band no other had this unique sound. Their sound at the time was in part created by the use of Marshall Amps. These amps at this early stage of use were sometimes temperamental. (I heard later the amps were giving the roadies trouble.) The amps sound, produced a real presence output of any guitar plugged into them. The two double humbucking Gibson guitars played by Duane and Dickey were a power to be dealt with. The rhythm section was powered by two sets of forceful, syncopated hard driving drummers and a bass guitarist that ripped. Add a singer that has a soulful and gruff voice backed by his incredible playing on a Hammond B3 organ and this combination is unsurpassed. I saw The Allman Brothers many times after this truly great experience and was never disappointed. In fact, I was always knocked out. See them at the Wanee Music Festival this April.

Year of the Black Rainbow Release

Hello music fans! And for now, especially coheed fans! The progressive rock band Coheed and Cambria has anounced that their new album "Year of the Black Rainbow" will be released on April 13th. The best part is, touring to come! I have seen Coheed many times in South Florida and I would not be surprised if they popped up at Revolution in Ft. Lauderdale sometime this year. The album will be the band's 5th, and it's setting will be as a prequal to the epic that coinsides with the band's music, written by singer/guitar player Claudio Sanchez.

Drifter will be keeping you posted on many more upcoming albums soon!

Muse, Alice in Chains and TSOOL

Muse starts their America tour February 27, at Gwinnett Center Atlanta ending the tour in Oakland. Their latest album (The Resistance) was really good and I think their concerts are a must for all rock lovers. In addition to that who wouldn’t give their right arm experiencing the guitar solos in Knights of Cydonia live!?

As a part of the so-called “Big four” rock bands from Seattle, Alice in Chains starts an interesting tour February 17 in Phoenix. Alice in Chains has been a successful heavy metal band for more than 20 years, so don’t miss it.

Swedish rock band, The Soundtrack of Our Lives, is going to play two concerts (February 23 & 27), in Tucson and San Francisco. The Rolling Stones-influenced bands latest album came out 2008 and was good, so if you live in San Francisco or Tucson this is a must. If you don’t, stay tuned for some travelling information made by our travelling expert.

For those of you who haven’t already bought tickets for your partners as a sign of your true love today make sure you do it before it gets sold out!
